Dana Walsh
13th Assembly District Member
Dana Walsh, a resident of San Francisco since 1978, was elected to the Republican County Committee in 1994, and served as past Vice-Chair of Communications . Dana is President of the Nob Hill Republican Women, Federated and a San Francisco Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the juvenile dependency Court. Previous community activities include working with S.F. School Volunteers and St John’s Tutoring Program in the Mission District. Dana has been President of the Greater Clement Street Merchant’s Association and a Board Member of Women Entrepreneurs and Bay Area Professional Women’s Network.
Dana Walsh graduated from San Jose State University with a B.S. in Industrial Design. She is Certified Interior Designer with offices in the San Francisco Design Center. Her professional affiliations include the SFDC Tenant Advisory Board, the Design Trade Resource Association, Philanthropy by Design, and the IFDA (International Furnishings and Design Association) in which she served as Vice-Chair of Community Relations for the Northern California Chapter. Dana also writes and speaks on design issues.
