John Brunello
13th Assembly District Member
John Brunello currently holds a seat on the San Francisco Republican Party Central Committee, representing the 13th Assembly District, having been elected and re-elected to this position. Brunello, who has served the committee as Deputy Treasurer and Deputy Chair of Communications, is active in recruiting new party members, registering voters and supporting initiatives to lower taxes and increase the rights of property owners.
A California native, Brunello worked for a member of Congress on Capital Hill and volunteered for numerous political campaigns, including Bush-Cheney, Join Arnold, Simon for Governor and Dole-Kemp. He studied economics, law and government at the American University in Washington, DC and has been trained by other leading academic institutions, public policy organizations and campaign training programs among them Georgetown University, The Leadership Institute and Campaign Management Institute.
Today, Brunello is a financial advisor for the US Global Wealth Management division of UBS Financial Services Inc., the Swiss-based financial firm. Bringing more than a decade of private investing experience to his position, he assists select individuals and high net-worth families in creating, preserving and transferring wealth. With access to the global resources and capabilities of UBS he assists clients in areas such as financial planning, estate planning and strategic charitable giving.
An avid soccer player, Brunello worked in operations during World Cup USA '94 and managed the media center at the Robert F. Kennedy Stadium soccer venue during the Summer Olympic Games in 1996. In his free time, he serves as director of finance for a cultural organization and is a board member for two San Francisco non-profit groups.
