Ramiro Maldonado
13th Assembly District Member
Ramiro Maldonado was elected to a seat on the San Francisco Republican Party in 2006 representing the 13th Assembly District, and he was also the Republican Nominee for State Assembly in his district in the 2006 general election.
Mr. Maldonado is a Texas native, and has been in the Bay Area for several years now. In Texas Mr. Maldonado served as campaign manager for several Congressional Candidates and Outreach coordinator for George W. Bush for Governor Campaign. Mr. Maldonado also served as Regional Vice Chair for the State College Republicans, while attending St. Mary's University (San Antonio, TX) where he earned a BA in Political Science and then went on to Texas University where he obtained his MBA.
In addition to his political ambitions and success, Mr. Maldonado is also heavily involved in the non-profit sector. Mr. Maldonado is the founder of his own non-profit in Texas (Maldonado Helping Hand Foundation), and is currently the Administrator-Grants, Development, and Governmental Affairs for one of the largest substance abuse non-profit organizations in the state of California. Ramiro enjoys running marathons, participating actively in various Church organizations and non-profit organizations. In San Francisco he sits on three major non-profits and practices his four languages with the diverse population of San Francisco.
