The elected delegates of the San Francisco Republican Party made their endorsements for the June 03, 2008 Election and  for the   2008 Supervisorial Election in District 3 during the March 12, 2008 regular meeting, in which the Central Committee also electe HOWARD EPSTEIN, Chair. During that meeting proponents and opponents of most ballot initiatives made presentations, followed by debate and finally a vote. (The proponent of Proposition D declined our invitation)

CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND BENIFITS NEED TO BE REFORMED. THIS IS A GOOD FIRST STEP

MUCH NEEDED MIXED-USE PROJECT TO REVITALIZED BAYVIEW – HUNTER’S POINT. WILL GENERATE AN ESTIMATED 8000 NEW JOBS.  
H – CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS

ALLOWS CITY EMPLOYEE LABOR UNIONS TO CONTINUE TO DONATE, WHILE STOPPING CITY CONTRACTORS FROM DONATING. IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH STATE LAW RELATING TO RESTRICTING LABOR UNIONS THE CITY’S FOUR (4) MEMBERS OF THE STATE LEGISLATURE SHOULD AUTHOR LEGISLATION TO FIX THE LAW.
